The status stays on “Waiting for your site”

• Open your site and look for a request to /v1/config in the network tab. No request means the script tag is not on the page.
• A 404 on that request means the page is not on the domain you connected, or another account has already verified that domain.
• A request blocked by the browser means your Content-Security-Policy does not allow the script’s origin.
• A tag manager that fires only after consent delays verification until someone consents.

A slot is empty

An empty slot is a normal outcome, not an error. It happens when nothing relevant enough is available for that page’s topic and language, when the request looks automated, or when the site is not verified yet. Your own promotions are never shown on your own site.

My promotion is not being shown

• The growth must be active.
• You need spendable credit; pending credit does not count yet.
• Your site must be verified.
• There must be member pages in your language on a related topic.

Numbers differ from my analytics

A confirmed visit is stricter than a pageview: the visitor has to stay. Bots and invalid clicks are excluded. Expect confirmed visits to be lower than the sessions your analytics attribute to the referral.

The placement preview does not load

The preview copies the HTML your server sends. It cannot copy pages that need sign-in, pages that render only in the browser, or pages over 6 MB. Try another page, or place a slot by hand.

The sign-in link does not work

A link works once and expires. Request a new one from the sign-in page. Links can be opened in any browser, including the one inside your mail app.
